Class size and adult-child ratio:
The Cove School follows the recommendations of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) regarding class size and adult-child ratio for preschool children. Class size is a maximum of 12 children total- 4-6 children for 18 months to 3 years old and 6-8 children for 3-5 years old. There are two full-time teachers in the classroom for a ratio of one adult per 6-8 children maximum. Our goal is to keep the class size and ratio as low as possible.
Classes available:
We offer morning classes 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday), 3 days a week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) and 5 days a week (Monday through Friday).
Toddler Preschool 18 months – 3 years
Morning session runs from 8:45-11:30
Pre-Kindergarten 3-5 years old
Morning session runs from 8:30am- 12:00pm
